Family Phys. Ed. got moving really quick with some Pirate Soccer! Started with a few fun rounds of Cookie Monster tag and then finished with some lead up games to Sideline Soccer. During the soccer game we talked about how important it is for soccer teams to communicate with each other. Some teammates even shared how important it is to pass and move to open space during soccer games as well.

The teams actually ended up tying 9-9 at the end. Congrats to both the red and blue team, and many thanks to all the families for coming out and sharing a lot of smiles and exercise!

What a great Sunday! Family Phys. Ed. class started with some fun Blob Tag. This game requires players to use a lot of communication and teamwork. Players realized that if they shared their ideas of who to tag they could work together to trap the other players. Afterwards, our fun workout was Aerobic Kickball. Players practiced all the different skills that come along with playing kickball and got their hearts pumping the whole time! We finished with California Kickball and both teams did an amazing job of showing good sportsmanship and encouraging others on their efforts. Thank you to all the families that came out and had a great time!

We welcomed 3 more families to our fun games today. We started off with some warm ups to get moving and then got right into a challenging tag game of Fire, Water, Tree Tag. Everyone's heart was pumping so we kept it going with a fun 5 minute family workout. Then came the fun of Who Got Me Frisbee?. We reviewed the proper way to throw a frisbee and then got started with the game. Everyone shared a whole lot of laughter and physical activity and it was an absolute pleasure to see everyone enjoying themselves.
