Sunday was a lot of fun for Family Phys. Ed. We started with a fun game of Fast Food tag and then did a fairly challenging Tabata workout. It only lasted 8 minutes, but the families were all having fun and encouraging each other to give their best effort. We finished up with a favorite, Battlefield Dodge Ball. Players would pretend to lose different body parts if they got hit and had the Dr. come over to help get their various limbs back. It was so much fun watching the families sweat, smile and enjoy each other's company.

Fun Friday for Family Phys. Ed. class. We started off with Drop the Chicken tag outside in which players had to try and hold the chicken as long as possible before someone else tagged them. Families found out very quickly how fast they can get their heart rates up as soon as 10-15 people are chasing after you, haha. We then finished the warm up with some Snake tag where players had to communicate with their teammates to try and not let the tail of the snake get tagged. We then challenged each person to try some juggling. Juggling is a great test of resiliency and persistence, all while giving each person the opportunity to improve their hand eye coordination. We then finished with Team Handball where players must use communication and a lot of teamwork in order to be successful and scoring against the other team. Everyone left really sweaty today and shared a lot of great laughter as well. Thank you everyone for coming out tonight!

Great day for Family Phys. Ed. We had 4 families play and we started with a warm up game of everyone's favorite classic, Toilet Tag. We then did a family workout that everyone was able to participate and get a good sweat going. As soon as we were done we headed outdoors for a wonderful game outdoors. We played Capture the Flag with Frisbees. Players had to try and get from their side safely to the other team's side without getting tagged. Just a few blurry videos from the game final game. My apologies for the quality of video, ugh, technology sometimes, haha.
